Laser cutting is a popular and effective method for cutting plastics. With over 30 years of experience in plastics processing, Kirsch Kunststofftechnik has specialised in lasering transparent and coloured plastics made of acrylic glass up to 20 mm thick. Acrylic glass is particularly suitable for laser cutting as the edges can be polished during the cutting process and corners achieved without an inner radius.
